All our Attorneys give their personal attention to all matters assigned to them and have typically at least 15 to 20 years of experience. They are all practicing Attorneys with Fidelity Fund Certificates issued by the Law Societies of South Africa, which ensure that we maintain the highest professional and ethical standards.
Our Executive Team
Monica Korf
Monica founded the Virtual Lawyers Group in 2013. She graduated cum laude in 1993 from the University of Pretoria and has been practising since then as an attorney, conveyancer, and notary. She applied her 24 years of legal experience and her interest in the use of technology, innovative products, and virtual portals to develop and operate a successful Virtual Law Firm. She specialises in conveyancing, trusts, deceased estates, curatorships, and commercial agreements.
Monica is a qualified non-practising UK solicitor; she served as a member of the Cape Town Legal Practice Council’s Wills, Trusts, and Estate Committee; she is a member of the Association of Arbitrators SA; she is a graduate of the International Society of Arbitrators and Mediators – Private Commercial Arbitration; and she served as an examiner for the Cape Town Legal Practice Council. She lives out her passions for ballroom dancing and traveling through the use of this innovative, flexible virtual business model.
Amelia Galvin
Amelia Galvin graduated from the University of South Africa with an LLB degree. She completed her articles as an attorney and conveyancer and joined the Virtual Lawyers group in 2017. She has completed courses in estate administration, the drafting of wills, and conveyancing. Amelia focuses on property law, family law, insolvency law, estate administration, and contract law. She specialises in conveyancing, deceased estates, antenuptial agreements, and notarial authentications.
Amelia is passionate about exploring and implementing new ventures through which virtual legal services can be developed. She prouds herself for being a vital part of the virtual team and for being able to offer excellent legal services effectively, in an accessible and affordable manner, to clients all over the world.
